Margie's Kitchen Cocktails - Andover

This restaurant in the Twin Cities offers the best food, drinks, service, and atmosphere we have ever experienced. We highly recommend it for anyone seeking downtown eats and ambiance close to home. The service staff went above and beyond, providing the best customer service we have ever received at a restaurant. The menu features elevated dishes, with the burrata crostini being a standout. We will be spreading the word about this place to everyone we know - we cannot praise it enough. And don't forget about the top-notch cocktails!

The food at this restaurant is a mixed bag - some dishes were delicious while others were disappointing. The fish dinner was well-prepared and not greasy, with a perfect homemade tarter sauce to accompany it. However, the rhubarb and strawberry crisp was soupy and seemed like a scoop of dry oatmeal was dumped on top with ice cream. The dish was served warmer than the dessert itself. The restaurant makes their own sauces, all of which I enjoyed. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the prices are on the higher side. I may not return for dinner, as I am unsure if I would have a great dining experience. I have heard that their breakfast is worth trying, so I may give them another chance for breakfast to see how they fare.

I had a positive dining experience overall. While some dishes were absolutely delicious, others fell a bit short. The drinks were consistently tasty. My husband really enjoyed the Burger and Pizza. The Seafood pasta had a generous amount of sauce, but would have been even better with angel hair pasta.

Really very impressed with Margie's and happy our schedule finally lined up with their hours. Drinks were on point, service was phenomenal, and sitting at the pizza bar so we could watch the kitchen operate was so cool, a well oiled machine. We shared a pizza as a starter, perfectly cooked, chewy crust, yum! My husband got the steak sandwich and I got a burger, both were good, my husband said the pieces of steak were a bit hard to bite with his teeth, so he cut them a bit smaller, but could be an issue for others. Overall, we'll be back!

Creme brulee French toast was to die for with mouth watering caramel pecans and the creme brulee to top for the saucy syrup. As an appetizer we tried the chimi cheese fries which with the aioli sauce and combination of the toppings made the fries insanely delicious and easy to eat! Can't wait to try more of their items! Open kitchen area allows you to see food being made or pizzas being finished, such a fun thing to see when eating or chatting. Great job Margie's!
