Lantern House Asian Bistro - Anderson

In the restaurant is simple and clean with an Asian decor. My waitress, Andrea E. was very warm, polite and friendly. She greeted me as soon as I got through the entrance door, with name no-the-least. She brought me refills without my request. My pleasure in enjoying my wife Dew was not sacrificed by an empty glass during my visit. Lantern House Asian Bistro's delicious selection of Asian dishes her menu offers has never disappointed me with concerns regarding the quality of taste, quantity and temperature of food. My choice of the menu was served in an exceptionally fast way. The affordable prices, high quality tasteful selection, the pleasant atmosphere and my waitress Andrea E. always makes my choice of restaurant, Lantern House Asian Bistro, my first. I would like to thank my waitress and the entire staff, which makes all my visits to Lantern House Asian Bistro very pleasant and delightful.

We had dinner at Lantern House on Thursday night. I have to admit that the food was very good, but the portions were very small. I'm sure we go back and give it another try before eating the restaurant from our best places.

I ordered the salmon. The menu includes Asian mushrooms, bok choy, spinach and garlic. I received a piece of fish on a bed warm spinach leaves without explanation for the missing ingredients. The salmon was well cooked and tasted good, but I felt cheated for the price. When we asked about the court, we were told that it never has mushrooms, although the server knew that the menu said. We were asked if we wanted fried rice or white rice with our meals and then calculated $1.50?up fees for every fried rice without explanation. Our server did its work appropriately, but all the time had a bad attitude. If I went to a steak house and ordered a steak, potato and salad, but not the potato or salad was given, I would expect an explanation and a discount. We've never been offered anything to not even talk to a manager. We have eaten several times in this restaurant and never had complaints. The rude service, the false advertising and the unapokal attitude during this visit will ensure that we never eat here again. Judging from other comments, this seems to be a normal problem. The management/owner obviously does not care because I do not make a single excuse or offer for bad experiences.

I have food poisoning from this place on Sunday afternoon. Idk, if the cook didn't cook the chicken all the way or there was something in my food that made me sick. But I had to miss the work this night. I had a terrible stomach pain while I was in the bathroom. Sweat, shake and I don't feel 100% yet. I thought I'd die. Don't eat here if you take care of you. Trust me. Could take my remnants to a lab to be tested.

Excellent delicious pad thai. Everythings very fresh. The portions are absolutely fine (and im a big guy) ignore the other reviews saying small portions. Pad thai, handmade crab rangoon and a big cup of wonton soup all for under 20$. I will be returning.
