El Patron Mexican - Anderson

Great food. Quick and polite service. Modern and authentic. Very clean restaurant ?

This review is for the Anderson, SC location, Friday 8 pm dinner, inside dinning, very small amount volume, no waiting for seating. Our experience here was very disappointing. The food was bad. The meat tasted and was too spiced to cover the spoiled meat. You do not put the prices on the menu. The food and drinks are too expensive. Our server was nice and helpful, the restaurant was clean, but the food was regrettable. And it is set up as a sports bar with many TVs that show sports, but still two TVs showed religious program lol. A guy preaches. See picture. El Patron is better than that. I would definitely not recommend or return.

When we first entered, I loved the facility. All TVs, the day of dead decoration, and the bar looks amazing. We sat right away and the waiter was there with the chips and salsa. The food was delicious and the chicken was good season. I have no complaints about my experience today. I would recommend this place to everyone.

So disappointed! We are often here in the past, but as they have completed the reconstruction, it's terrible! We went to lunch today and the service was terrible and they weren't even busy. First, they do not publish prices on their menu that is suspicious. We ordered from the lunch menu (I literally pointed out the article I wanted to our server) and he brought us the dinner part. I made a comment that it was missing the salad that was given on the menu and its answer was, do you want me to get the manager? We ordered an appetizer that didn't come to dinner. And when we got our bill, as I suspected, they paid us for dinner. The waiter said that I ordered menu from the dinner and I told him that I pointed to the lunch menu at the back of the menu. He didn't do anything. I also observed that one of his other tables had to come forward to ask him for their check when he was on the phone. Needless to say we won't be back. There are many other really great Mexican restaurants in the area to waste our money in this place.

The place was nice, the staff was pleasant. They have over 20 TVs hanging on the walls of the restaurant. You have everything you can eat during lunchtime. The food bar was nice. They had chicken fajitas, but they also wanted shrimps. I and my wife had a lot to eat and enjoyed our time there.
