Thai Garden - Anchorage

I would not recommend eating at this restaurant. The food was very disappointing. We ordered pho soup, and it was the worst pho I have ever had in my life. Additionally, the side dishes that came with the soup were incomplete, and the boiled egg was not up to par.

I stopped by after completing my ServSafe training and was eager to try out Thai Garden, especially after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the overall food court left a bit to be desired.

I wouldn't give this place a rating. The portion sizes are quite small, and I wish I had looked at the reviews before placing my order. They don't really serve meals in adult-sized portions.

The food was delicious and served hot and fresh! I ordered the Drunken Noodles, and the vegetables were perfectly crunchy. There was a subtle flavor of basil from the fresh leaves, and the noodles were soft and chewy. I highly recommend this dish. The fried veggie spring rolls were tasty as well!

The Pad Thai was extremely sweet to the point that I couldn't finish it. I mentioned to the staff that it was too sweet and ended up ordering some rice. The Pad Thai cost $11, and I had to pay an additional $2 for the rice. Overall, I felt it was a total rip-off considering the quality and quantity of food served!
