Subway - Anchorage

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the rude behavior of one of the staff members. Upon our arrival, we were not greeted at all and were left waiting for about seven minutes without any acknowledgment. Instead of a simple “I’ll be with you in a moment,” we received a cold stare. When the woman finally approached the counter, she remained silent and didn’t ask if we were ready to order; just continued to glare at us without any warmth. This staff member, who was a local and quite short, displayed a very unfriendly attitude. I felt unwelcome throughout my visit and have no intention of returning. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared.

I arrived around 11 AM and didn't receive any greeting. I waited for about seven minutes without even a simple acknowledgment like "I'll be with you shortly." The staff member was just walking around as if there were no customers in front of her. I won't be returning.

You put customers in a tough position when all employees regularly sit back and watch the new hire who doesn’t speak any English struggle. It’s like hey sink or swim as for the customer they are on their own in that regard too. It’s not fair to the girl who doesn’t speak English OR the customer. why hire an employee just to not train them and watch them struggle?

This is the cleanest and friendliest staff of any North American Subway!
