Romano's - Anchorage

I have been here several times and always had a great experience but tonight I went and ordered a banana daiquiri and I take a sip and feel something sharp in my mouth and I spit it out and it’s a piece of glass ...I asked for a manager and told the waiter what happened and he comes back and says the manager said they will take of the bill ...like I was going to pay for my banana glass daiquiri anyways at that point didn’t trust to get another one ..out waiter was great but nice to know that you have glass in your drink and management couldn’t bother to come out and say anything to us even after I asked and you would think they would just because that’s they’re job ..let me say our food was delicious our waiter great but I will definitely will NOT be returning , I won’t pay my hard earned money for a real concern that couldn’t even be acknowledged

Love it here. Better than olive garden for around the same price (little more). The seafood Linguine is my favorite! Never had bad experience. The pizza is pretty good to.

It was the worst dining experience I have ever had first of all everything we tried to order they said they didn't have including pizza what Italian place doesn't have pizza then we finally found something on the menu that was over priced and settled on it and also ordered a salad they brought the salad with the dinner so by the time I ate my salad my dinner was cold then they brought us some garlic bread and it was burnt we sent it back we told them to just bring us some regular bread and it was burnt also to top it all off they tried to charge us for the bread that we didn't eat. To say the least I will never return to this restaurant.

We came on a Monday for dinner so the massive restaurant was pretty empty but very clean. Our server was very nice and we took his recommendations for food. Large portions, my chicken came on a bed if noodles which were dry and needed some sauce. The other dish the pasta was on the thick side. Food was decent but on the expensive side for what it was. Probably will try another Italian restaurant next time we are in the for it.

When we arrived (party of they said they were short on menus so we'd need to share and that they were out of salad, despite being nearly empty. The food took about an hour to arrive and they forgot to bring a drink but had remembered to add it to the bill. The food was good when it finally came, but the service was awkward and when the food arrived there was no explanation as to why some of the entrees had extra side dishes and others did not. Wouldn't go back and we all wondered how it was still in business after all these years.
