Pho Lena Express - Anchorage

Amazing food. This place is tucked away in the Northway Mall (which is pretty creepy and vacant these days) but it’s worth the trip. The food comes out hot and fast and is delicious. If you don’t mind trekking through what looks like a post-apocalyptic shopping mall, this place will not disappoint you.

Very good. Food flavor here is probably better than their main location. I love Thai and eat it wherever I go around the country for work, so I can judge. Affordable lunch. Not quick, but that's not fast good but a real cooked for you deal. I prefer quality over speed.

The owners are very welcoming and excellent! The restaurant is kept clean and service is great. The vibe in the restaurant makes you feel right at home. The food is excellent and bursting with authentication! My favorite is the Chicken Kapiek Sin with Oxtail. The Pho is delicious too! The Laotian Beef Larb is to die for. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody and everybody!!

Very impressed with food, service and presentation. Owners/staff very friendly. We had the panang curry, Vietnamese sandwich and chicken satay (peanut sauce different and lovely). Northway mall is not a 'hot spot ' but we will be back because the food was so good, quick and leftovers well packed. Nice seating and plenty of tables. Menu large and varied, including Laos, Thai and Vietnamese foods.

Pretty tasty. I grabbed some takeout from here on way home the other day ordered the shrimp egg rolls and pad ka teim (garlic stir fry). I like that they clarify which location (as they have more than one) before you order and that it was ready to go really quick when I got there. My shrimp egg rolls were fantastic crispy and hot! The sauce was a little thin but still a nice chili flavor. Entree was also perfect spiced as requested with moist chicken and several kinds of veggies. I'd say the only drawback was the size it was only a small portion compared to other places I've ordered from but still the same price. It came wrapped in foil which took up a lot of room and even then most of the carton was just rice which was disappointing. Go for the flavor but don't be too hungry!
