Miso Sushi - Anchorage

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious, and the music created the ideal vibe for the setting. It was clean and not too crowded, which made for a pleasant experience. This has officially become my new favorite spot in Anchorage! Food: 5/5

The restaurant was bustling when we arrived. Our waitress was very welcoming. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Miso special roll, and the Mongolian beef was quite tasty as well, with tender meat. Overall, it’s a solid Japanese restaurant that exceeds expectations. I recommend it! Best sushi I've ever had and I eat A LOT of sushi, I went back a week after my first time there is was so good I couldn't resist. They bring you this little bowl of free miso soup. The fries sushi is done in tempura batter so it's not all greasy and gross and amazing and addictivly delicious. 1,000/10 absolutely recommend eating here. The prices are also really really reasonable too, absolutely felt like I was getting my money's worth.

We ordered the sashimi plate (32 pieces) together with two fried udons. The fried udons were pretty, but sashimi—especially the salmon and tuna—were not as good and fresh as we expected, given the overall price and it’s in Alaska.I would not recommend ordering sashimi in this restaurant.

This place is so underrated, food is delicious, love the oysters and also had to try the fried oreos!
