I ordered the Tuna Melt, which came with tuna salad, tomato, and cheddar cheese on toasted whole wheat bread, accompanied by a side of potato salad. My order arrived in just a few minutes, and I have to say, it’s one of the best tuna sandwiches I’ve had since enjoying a tuna sub at Jimmy John's in Raleigh, NC. I’m looking forward to trying some of their other sandwiches on my next visit, including the CCBLTA (chicken breast, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, melted Brie, and mayo on marbled rye), the Barnyard (BBQ pork, BBQ brisket, turkey, ham, and house BBQ sauce on a hoagie roll—it's a huge sandwich), the Chicken Salad (pulled chicken, toasted pecans, blue cheese, red grapes, and celery tossed in mayo, with a choice of bread), and the Caprese (mozzarella, roasted Roma tomatoes, and pesto sauce with a choice of bread). The service was exceptionally friendly, and my sandwich was served hot with fresh vegetables. I really enjoy locally owned sandwich shops like this and was delighted to find a great alternative to Subway. They even offer a frequent diner punch card, where they’ll keep your name on file at the register. This is a fantastic local gem worth supporting in the face of the Subway empire.
I ordered the Reuben with a side of potato salad. The Reuben was really flavorful, and they piled on plenty of meat! At $12.50, I would expect nothing less, and I thought it was delicious. They lightly toasted the bread, but not quite to a panini level; I felt the toast could have been a bit more substantial. I wanted to save half for later, but I knew it would get soggy within 15 minutes. As for the potato salad, I found it unappealing. It was way too creamy for my taste—with a lot of mayo. I personally prefer the yellower, more textured kind. Despite this, I would definitely return, although I might opt for chips as a side next time.
The house soup, Tomato Basil, is absolutely delicious—quite a compliment coming from someone who isn’t typically a fan of tomato soup. The potato, macaroni, and cole slaw salads are all fresh and homemade; you won’t find any store-bought mayonnaise here. I haven’t tried their desserts yet, but those oatmeal raisin cookies look incredibly tempting. Personally, I prefer a good oatmeal raisin cookie over chocolate chip cookies (which they also offer) any day. Even though they’ve only been open for about a week and a half, I’m already a regular customer.
THANK YOU for proving everything I've heard right. I had the most AMAZING meal at Masters, and I will definitely be coming back. I don't even know what else to say. Perfection. ~MalieD #TheBreakfastClub 101.3 KGOT
Got my sandwich wrong. Was labeled no horse . Definitely had the horseradish. I 'd hope there wasn 't any horse in it lol. Got it on a hoagie. Bread is yummy but sandwich itself was average. 13 bucks for a large spicy beef sandwich. Had Few jalapenos and horseradish. Barely spicy.
