Lucky Wishbone - Anchorage

Oh my, the home cooking type food here is phenomenal. Best fried chicken in town, by far! And everything else is exceptional too. I had the mashed potatoes and gravy, yum. My girlfriends had the chicken sandwich, and an all meaty with a raspberry fudge shake. The guy at the table beside me has the burger, and it looked so good I can’t stop thinking about it. I absolutely appreciate being able to get an affordable tasty meal. Can’t wait to go back again!

Best fried chicken sandwich ever! Fries were delicious and the milkshake, WOW. Definitely will be back before our trip is over. Really friendly waitstaff too.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner while in Anchorage. I had the three piece chicken dinner with a side of mashed potatoes. The chicken was good, but greasy. I also had a cup of chicken dumpling soup which was nice. My husband had soup and mashed potatoes as he wasn't as hungry. We both had some of their speciality drinks as well. It was pricey, but that seems to be the norm for restaurant meals in Alaska.

$23 for a small burger (McDonald's quality) onion rings..soggy. and they up charge for BBQ sauce or butter for your Corn bread.Fast service though. So that's niceYears ago it was a really awesome place to go.

This is the best chicken in Anchorage. It's historic in so many ways. If you're new here it a place to go and be part of Anchorages history. I personally love their old fashion coffee malt.
