Indigo Tea Lounge - Anchorage

It took some time for our tea to arrive, but the wait for the tea tray was definitely worth it! The selection was great and everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely place. At first. Workers seemed overwhelmed and looks like the place is cutting corners. For example, the menu looks like a rough draft, covered in cross outs and sticky notes. They were out of some menu items. Super slow service. The turkey pesto sandwich was really good though. FYI No blended drinks.

Staff was not friendly.Response to owner: I like to explore restaurants and shops and came to your location because my daughters and I like tea and it looks different than any place Ive been in town. It was around 3 something in the afternoon, no later than 330, when we were there on the day I posted the review (Monday 8/7). We did not have reservations. We entered the store and the clerk was just starting at us and following us with her eyes as we walked around the store. She never said anything to us. As we got to the table in front of the register to look at the teapot and other items, she still didnt acknowledge us. That's when we left.

I have never experienced such terrible service before. I am extremely disappointed.

Great place. Always love coming here for for high tea.
