They told me over the phone that my order would be done in 25 mins. Get there at 8:50 PM and they say they don 't sell wings so they had to take it off my order. (Sign clearly advertising that they sell wings) So I ask well is my pizza ready then and they say no we just put it the oven should be about 5 minutes i waited about 15 mins inside the lobby to get my 1 large pizza. Literally sitting here watching others get there pizza immediately. What my concern is what were y 'all doing for almost half an hour after I called in my order And second Why do you guys advertise that y 'all have buffalo wings but say y 'all don 't sell them. Smh never coming here again such unhappy customer. If I could give zero stars I would!!!!!!!!
Tried this place for the first time tonight. Got there about 6:30 I was expecting a little ceasar thing. I had been told that is what is was. But no. The two most obvious differences is the pizza is not $5 nor is it ready. Is that a deal breaker for me ? No. I ordered the $9.99 large pizza because if you do the math, that 's 4 meals for me so if anybody else knows where I can get 2 slices of pizza for $2.50 in good ol Los Anchorage let me know. The young ladies working in there were both very nice , I did not have much interaction with the gentleman but he smiled and nodded at me when I walked in both times. The pizza was fine. It was just exactly what I ordered it was hot, freshly made, and ready in the promised 10 minutes. Topping ratio was adequate the sauce was ok and the crust was basically what one can expect at a chain type pizza restaurant. I don 't know ... I think it was definately an acceptable deal and value for the price. Being right outside the Muldoon gate, with parking right in front of the door makes it a good option for those of us living on base. Try it .
I had the buffalo chicken calzone, and it was pretty good. Not the best calzone I've ever had, but certainly not the worst (or even close). It was ready pretty quickly, and breadsticks come with a 2-liter bottle of soda for a penny extra. The guy at the counter was friendly, and I ordered my calzone with no roasted peppers, and it came out right. All in all, pretty good.
Being from New Jersey and the tri-state area, I'm very biased about pizza and how is should taste, but with knowing my surrounds and where I'm living and what I'm dealing with I have an open mind. Having an open mind is key to understanding how pizza is going to compare where I'm from in which my opinion is the best pizza in the country. And the best I can give this place In my opinion is one star. And only one thing to say about this pizza, it's fucking ketchup bread. Good day.
This is my second experience ordering from The Great Alaska Pizza Company. During my first visit, I placed a pickup order and found out that while my order was received, it hadn't actually been started. Today, I tried ordering online, but for some reason, I wasn't able to make any changes to my pizza, so I went ahead and completed the order. I thought it was strange that I couldn’t modify it, so I called to inquire. After a bit of being on hold, I was told that my pizza had already been made, but it was just cheese—there was no option to change it. I was also told that someone had tried to call me to fix the order, but I never received any call or message. So, it looks like I’ll be having cheese pizza for dinner tonight.
