Don Jose's - Anchorage

I've been there many times. The food is always great, the service is always great, the atmosphere is great. Personally, I think it's the best Mexican restaurant in the bowl.

Great atmosphere. Loved food outside. Many gluten-free options. The food was delicious and the service was great! Returned twice. We had the taco bowl, Enchiladas, Chimichanga. Better be hungry or bring someone when you come, parts are huge!

Food was mediocre, margarita was okay. Taquitos tasted like they were sitting for awhile and then reheated. Margaritas were not what I was expecting. Nice warm chips and okay salsa though.

Tried the taco wheel with a Dos Equis tonight. Lots of food. Each taco a different and well seasoned flavor. Meat was really tender, which is nice. Two of us split it with some to carry home. It was a nice experience overall

My first time at this restaurant. I absolutely love it. Very clean, super friendly staff, delicious salsa and food. Even loved the music. Awesome server.
