Dark Horse Coffee Co - Anchorage

A little bit of sunshine in the November darkness! Not only is this coffee shop beautifully quirky, it is spot on with its selection of coffee and light breakfast items. They know how to make a great espresso, and to find gluten free bread for my breakfast sandwich was gold. It made me try the gluten free zucchini carrot muffin the next day. Mmmmm. I've been seeing people come in for these giant bowls of oatmeal. While it's not for me, it looks pretty incredible too. My favorite spot when I'm in Anchorage.

Had a delicious egg sandwich with gluten free bread really tasty! And the cold brew is delicious too. Highly recommend this place!

The coffee in Anchorage is amazing. You can visit for a month and never go to the same place twice! Dark Horse is worthy of multiple visits! They serve Heritage coffee roasted in Juneau and homemade food! The cappuccino is strong and flavorful and the bacon quiche is delicious. The staff are super friendly and it's a great place to work or people watch!

Limited menu, but what they do the fo well. Good presentation. Drinks and food were pretty. Recommend the acai bowl. After my friends left, I stayed to crank out some work. Comfortable and good wifi. Bonus! The staff were couteous and caring.

I love this place you feel like family when you walk in and the food and drinks are the best! Definitely a must stop when I'm downtown in the morning
