Arctic Sushi - Anchorage

The sushi is outstanding. We each ordered a roll and were so impressed that we returned the following day for more.

The food was overpriced and disappointing. During my last visit, the ahi tuna was sliced paper-thin. For $20, I expected a lot more.

I paid $20 for this dish. While it tastes pretty good, I don't think it's a great value for the price. Overall, it's just not worth it.

I ordered the Salmon Poki. The flavor of the salmon was very tasty. However, I was hoping for a better quality meal and a reasonable portion. A little underwhelming of a presentation, given the price of $23.95. Thankfully, the salmon was very fresh and served with sliced cucumbers and chopped lettuce. The restaurant is cute and cozy on the inside and I did not wait long for my meal. I was the only person in the restaurant. Overall, the meal was average.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating.Parking: Paid parking lot next door to the restaurant.

I've had multiple visits to this place throughout the past several years and I am glad they're here. The service is always decent and the food is tasty. It is reminiscent of little back corner restaurants I've stumbled on in Tokyo in terms of the vibe of the place which I like, but it is pricey. Then again everything in Anchorage is.
