South Coffeehouse - Anchorage

Although the menu is limited, the quality of the dishes at this restaurant is quite impressive. In our opinion, the cauliflower tacos are the standout item. We also sampled the impossible burger and hummus, which were both delicious. The burger was a bit too salty for our taste, but the hummus was just right. The cocktails were excellent as well. The breakfast options were a hit, particularly the avocado toast and vegan huevos divorciados, accompanied by great coffee.

I absolutely adore dining at this restaurant! They offer a wide variety of delicious vegan options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I appreciate that the vegan choices are clearly labeled on their menu.

South is now offering the Impossible Burger on their menu! Customers can choose to have it with a regular bun or a vegan option. Additionally, the breakfast veggie hash is incredibly tasty.

The cauliflower tacos and roasted tomatenkale suppe were quite good, but the best part of our experience in south observed on Saturday the thorn of the early midday crowd. we sat at the bar because there was a 45-minute waiting time for a table at 11:30. the bartenders were very busy, very friendly and much fun. as others mentioned, the few vegan options were good, but limited, and therefore I would not be very often back.
