Tempo Urban Kitchen - Anaheim

I would rate this restaurant between 3 and 4 stars. The atmosphere was appealing, with dim lighting, music playing, and fun neon lights and artwork throughout the space. However, the prices were quite steep! The food was decent, but certainly not impressive, and didn't justify the cost.

We decided to share a flight of drinks so everyone could get a taste, and I have to say, I could definitely taste the alcohol! We skipped appetizers and went straight to the main dishes because we were eager for the Churro Cart dessert. I opted for something light after a day of drinking, and I was not disappointed with the tuna tartar (I can't recall the exact name from the menu). I thought the soy sauce was a tad overpowering, but the combination with the avocado was delightful. The Churro Cart was the perfect portion for us to share, and we loved trying it with three different flavors! Overall, this place is definitely a spot I plan to revisit in the future.

I had an amazing culinary experience! The cocktails were delicious, the food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding...WOW! Jess was exceptional! I can’t wait to return!!

I enjoyed the food; Japanese and Mexican dishes often complement each other very well, and the VIP sushi was quite delicious and quite full. The Korean tacos were also great. My only complaint would be that for dessert, when I was a spoon of what I think was Granola with my buttercake, I was hit with a strange taste that I think was either from the spoon or the wooden plate. This place is not likely to win a Michelin star or an equivalent due to its food fusion, but if you appreciate good food and a good atmosphere, I would recommend it for a night with friends.

Great atmosphere, Pepe and the staff were so welcoming, they ensured they made every moment right. Food came out so quick and very delicious. 10/10 will definitely come back when I'm in the area. I recommend the churro cart, it's definitely a creative way to offer a desert. And my California burrito was asada but I added pork belly.
