Tacos El Sauz Jr - Anaheim

First time and debating whether to come back or not. I ordered the fish tacos and even when the fish was cooked at the moment, it needed a little more flavor. Did not want the rice, so bit portion of beans which they tasted a little old or maybe sitting on heat for too long. The guacamole tasted good. Service was good, right when I came in, the order taker asked what I'd like to order, asked if they had fish tacos, I was expecting beer batter fish tacos, but the healthier choice was okay too.

Great service and great eating especially the carne asada tacos and pommes

It was a because curious about this place. never come back after I tried. I had the carne asada burrito with all; tear beans cilantro wobbles and salsa roja. but the flesh had so many pieces of fat to chew in it wisely and the rice was tasteless. must add salsa to each bite, just to add taste. the salsa was pretty good, although both red and green. the agua de horchata tasted watery. the service was welcoming, but improving food needs.

I really hope the owner knows how valuable his cook is. I hope the cook knows how valuable he is! we always come back because of the perfect carne asada tacos every time. we do not always come back for the customer service that the cashes provide with the ordering - even the cooking steps to sometimes! is the cook- they know that natural joy someone has when they do something they love? that's the cook there. he's amazing. we come back because it's good to eat and the cook is an inviting energy.

My first impression of this restaurant was not very impressive. When I went in with my boyfriend, I asked to wear a mask and stand behind a plexiglass barrier while my order was taken. However, two men who ordered behind me did not wear masks and it was not an issue for the staff. When my order was finally ready, the server was flirting with these maskless men while my food got cold. I had to get up and ask if my order was ready because my food was cold. The server reacted defensively, admitting that she had asked the men to wear masks but still served them. I decided to leave. My boyfriend stayed behind and the server asked if I was his girlfriend, making inappropriate comments about my appearance. The food was average, with the carne asada being reheated and dry. The service was subpar. Overall, my experience was disappointing.
