Romano's Macaroni Grill Anaheim Hills

My family and I went to this restaurant for Saturday lunch. The service was excellent and the menu had a good variety of options. The water was not very pleasant, but the food was delicious. It would be wonderful if the manager could get permission from corporate to upgrade the water filtration system at this location. We fondly remembered the days when the restaurant had opera singers performing during dinner and Italian language lessons playing in the restrooms. Bringing back the singers would make for a unique and special experience.

Romano's Macaroni Grill is our go-to neighborhood restaurant. Whether dining in, taking out, or ordering delivery through various services, we can always count on excellent food and service. Unlike many chain restaurants that have declined in quality over the years, Romano's Macaroni Grill continues to improve and impress us.

Our waiter, David, appeared distracted and seemed to be more focused on the table across from us. Even though they were seated after us, they were already provided with utensils, extra plates, and glasses of wine while we had to request for these items. Despite asking for plates and utensils, David never brought them to us. Eventually, Jess took over our table but we still had to ask for utensils when our food arrived. Additionally, my husband ordered a Sprite but was given water instead.

Good food and service. Was very disappointed that Ramano’s discontinued serving orzo with their salmon dish. The orzo used to be fantastic and the noodles they substituted were substandard. Disappointing.

Could not have been worse. Felt bad writing this review as it was Thanksgiving. Worst experience at a restaurant in 3-4 years. Food horrible. Chicken literally like rubber, almost gagged had to spit out into a napkin. Everything ordered was terrible. Service terrible. Roof was leaking all over. People working there didn’t even act liked they cared. This place needs to be shutdown for a month and reset. It’s a sad excuse for a restaurant. Macaroni Grill=never seeing me again. Take them off open table. Please
