I got the popcorn chicken, and it came with BBQ sauce... in a Ray 's plastic container. When I asked for Ranch, I got two more plastic containers. They don 't bother to pretend that you 're basically eating overpriced stuff you could get across the street at the Big A. Then, after two beers and the chicken? I asked for water and the bartender pointed to a orange water container 20 feet away. You can 't be bothered to get a glass of water to a guy at the bar? I get it it 's supposed to be a brewery, not a restaurant. Then be a brewery, not a restaurant. There are dozens of brewery restaurants in the OC better than this. And if I must be honest, dozens of breweries with better beer. Don 't bother, because they don 't.
Went here for a friend's birthday and I absolutely loved the lounge spaces! Stayed at the fire pit area which was perfect for a large group. I got the Mango Michelada, which was pretty good but I highly recommend the Pineapple Seltzer which was more on the refreshing/sweeter side. Wouldn't recommend the Al Pastor fries (3/10 because the marinate was pretty sour, but the fries itself were good. Carnitas tacos (8/10 . Pretty solid and came with 3, but overpriced Fried avocado tacos (8/10 . Delicious and filling Wish I took pics of the food, but we were too hungry lol Really liked how it's family friendly and they allow dogs which made the experience even better :
My husband and I met some friends at Golden Road yesterday before going to the Angel game and were super impressed. I was a server years ago and we served Golden Road's beer before they changed brewmasters. Needless to say, their beer has improved dramatically since Victor took over. Kyle was our server and was incredible. He had tons of tables and yet was always around when needed. His was funny and knowledge and hit the nail on the head with his recommendations. We ordered the strawberry cart, Big Hazy Wolf, nachos and onion patty melt were all delicious. We will definitely be back and request to sit in Kyles station next time we are going to an Angels or Ducks game.
Very cool place. Very loud (very, very loud), but cool. Lots of beverage choices, plenty of tv's, and a wide open, warehouse feel. It's a walk in and seat yourself kind of a place. Menus are on QR codes, and a server magically appears to take your order after a few minutes. Vegetarian review: nachos: these can be vegan or vegetarian, and were pretty good. I wish it were heavier on cheese, but that's just me. Guacamole, beans, sour cream, and tomatoes were all good. Beware, the jalapeños are fresh and spicy. classic burger (with an impossible patty). Standard, solid burger. Fries were crispy and addicting. impossible nuggets: it looks like a kids meal, right? The nuggets were perfectly done and were a delightful throwback to an old favorite. Parking: a small parking lot is available, and so is street parking.
Been meaning to try this brewery for awhile and my friends and I had a blast! It was a chilly evening, but we sat outside since they had plenty of heaters at every bench that kept us warm the entire time. We all ordered different beers but they were all so so good, each with their own unique flavor and aroma. They have a jumbo TV playing movies or sports, a corner to play cornhole, and the outside is dog friendly!
