He's such a hard character to catch in Disney Parks! BUT this characteristic breakfast buffet is the way to go! Once you arrive, you will get a professional photoshoot with Surfer Donald! Yes, they can use your camera/smartphone, also loved the surf holiday theme decoration when we went during my birthday trip. So much activity throughout the restaurant other signs that day were Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse Stitch! Great fun! Our time slot on a weekday worked well for us as there were not too many other diners. So we got a LOT of special attention and interaction with the characters roaming around and saw them interacting with each other. It was especially hearty to see that Donald Daisy as a couple wandering around. You don't see it every day! Love! Love! Love! Buffet consisted of omelet station that we totally missed because who can eat when it kills Donald! Lol , granola/fruit parfait station, hot breakfast item agitator, eggs Benedict, bacon, pork sausage, hash, etc., oatmeal/mickey pancake Mickey waffles/French toast station, soft serve dessert station with toppings! Unfortunately, my only disappointment was that, although I booked both in advance our dining room reservations online with note from my birthday party, and said the receptionist at checkin, AND I wore my Disneyland birthday pen, I did not get any birthday candle lit cupcake and Serenade. Of course, I thought it was only for the children, but when I asked on the way out, one of the servers said that they also do it for adults, and to tell them again, it was my birthday, but we maxed our 2 hours parking time. Oh, good. Learn from my mistake to be more aggressive and let your actual table server know that you are there to celebrate a birthday. ;
Had a great time at the character breakfast on my son's birthday. We were there a few other times, and we like it every time! I have a 20-month (I know, so annoying, but it's not quite 2, so I'm just specific) and a 5-year-old. My little LOVED, who danced with the characters, started the dance party during our breakfast. The characters come directly to your table and are the absolutely sweetest, regardless of the mood of your child. The food was good! We definitely loved the fresh fruit, Omelette Station, and her bacon is good. We had a very nurturing server, Ellen, and although she was busy, she took time to check us out and conduct short conversations. She made sure that my little guy had a special 5th day with pens for everyone, a birthday cupcake and sing. Our sum came to about $125 with top. If you use a Disney Visa card, you can save 10% of it. Even if you like your family photo, and you will get the MaxPass, do not buy the photo they take! Go to the Photo Store on Main Street and tell them the time and location of your breakfast, and they will digitally add the photo to your MaxPass. This allows you to store it to your phone/computer for processing and printing. We will definitely go back!
It is always a great experience for the children to eat with the characters. We liked that Stitch was with this one! The food is mediocre, that shouldn't be the reason why you're going here! You take your picture with Mickey when you go, make sure they take it with your camera or it costs you $35. Also, they automatically add type so look for this!
Food was good and plentiful, although over price for experience. Catered for diet demands big plus. Service was very good and we have a lot of Disney experience. Would recommend for big Disney fans that we are not.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to if I'm staying at Paradise Pier. The buffet is kind of pricey, but the character breakfast is fun for kids. I usually eat her first (just once) during a trip and would head to Disneyland right after. Great service, the staff is really courteous and the food is decent. I recommend it!
