Our waiter took a long time before finally taking our order and our food seemed to take a long time to arrive even though it was pretty simple. I got the Three Sisters Club sandwich (which was missing tomato and cheese) and the Three Sisters Panini while mom got the Club sandwich (Club sandwich was missing cucumber). A bit annoyed how they didn't provide all the ingredients for both clubs. The food itself was average. The fillings with the chicken or bacon was paltry at best and we were left with 1/3 to 1/2 of our clubs being just bread since everything was in the center apparently when it was curated. The presentation was nice but it was also deceiving when it comes to actually eating it with the amount of meat and toppings that fill the sandwiches. We didn't order drinks so that may be a reason to try this spot out but as far as food, I'd skip this place and just walk to Albert Heijn a few blocks away and grab some food there.
We had a team dinner here last night and the atmosphere was very nice with a warm feeling. Overall the service was good and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Most of the team liked their food but my halibut was almost raw and I added to send it back.
This is the most beautiful pub I have ever been in. If you are ever in Amsterdam, you have to go. We didn't eat so I can't comment on that, but the bar experience and the ambiance were fantastic. I had to add some pictures because I didn't think the existing pics really did justice to how beautiful this place is.
Touristy spot near the main area of Amsterdam. Had some friends are already been here and we found it online again, and decided to hit it up. The inside, while big, it's quite cozy. They have giant chairs and round booths that let you escape the crowd. The bar itself seems like it has a lot of history and the entire space is beautiful. The bathrooms are down a serious flight of stairs, and I don't smell amazing, but they are generally clean. The service is not amazing and you have to constantly call for your server or ask a host to find one. The prices did seem pretty reasonable for being in such a downtown spot. They have a pretty decent menu with some samplers, and while nothing seemed to be amazing, it was a nice option.
3.5 stars. Rounding it up to 4, since I think the 2.5 star overall rating is a little harsh. I'll have to admit, my only experience here was late at night for drinks only, so I can't speak for the food, but I thought the decor and ambiance were great. Service and drink selection weren't lacking, either. The Three Sisters was conveniently located right next to our hotel in Rembrandtplein, a famous district known for its nightlife. This bar is definitely on the quieter, mellower side in comparison to others nearby. No loud music or club vibes, just a calm and more sophisticated feel. The space itself is quite large, with abundant seating. The furniture was actually very comfortable and spacious. The drink menu has a lot of great options. I enjoyed a beer first, then made my way to the bar to try some local spirits. The drinks I tried were OK, nothing to rave about, but they definitely did the trick. Shortly after, this bar closed, so we continued the festivities elsewhere.
