Tante Roosje - Amsterdam

Loved the entire meal here! For those seeking a satisfying breakfast I highly recommend.

A very average breakfast, and definitely not on the cheap side. Service was also pretty rough.

This restaurant has a great location, near Rembrandt Square, with outdoor seating so it's great to people watch. The staff is incredibly friendly. But the food is just okay. I got the Amsterdam burger. The cheese wasn't melted to the burger, there was a layer of onions between the burger and the cheese. Personally I don't like that, but others may. The fries were great, but the burger wasn't anything special, and expensive given the location. If you want atmosphere with a beer, it's a great place. But if you want a really good burger, not necessarily where I'd go.

Great atmosphere, but lousy service. We rushed in to get there ten minutes before 1pm in order to have breakfast. Spent 15 minutes trying to get the waiters' attention, and then they finally came at 1:10 pm to tell us that breakfast ended at 1pm. By the way, it was this waiter who thinks he looks like George Clooney, with a straight face. The other waiters/ waitresses were very sweet and accommodating. Would recommend this bar for everyone, just avoid that waiter.

Great and friendly staff. Wanted to watch a football game but it wasn't possible. The staff tried their hardest though! So nice and welcoming to a tourist
