For example, the dish with multiple preparations of beet is nicely balanced, with the beet clearly palatable, but not overpowering or earthy. Were we as impressed as with other star businesses? Generally not. However, it is amazing what kind of dishes are served with local products, without using the typical products from classic shops. The atmosphere in the restaurant is unique for a Michelin restaurant. A bit grander, a bit looser, a bit hipper, but certainly no less hospitable. For example, there was no wine arrangement, but the service thought along as well as possible by offering matching glasses. The wine-food combinations were therefore slightly less powerful than we are used to. Look for more photos on instagram: gastroguideglenn
The most incredible and unique culinary experience we’ve ever had. The restaurant itself is set in a greenhouse surrounded by a park, everything was lush, green, and so natural. Staff was amazing, attentive, and timed perfectly. We had a five course meal with oysters and each dish was better than the next. Flavors were robust, dishes plated to perfection, and was a completely curated meal. Absolutely a must in Amsterdam
Beautiful atmosphere combined with fresh and delightful flavors. Definetly would like to come again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is the best restaurant on this trip. There were many dishes that were pleasing to the eyes and tongue, using plenty of vegetables grown in the adjacent vegetable garden. It was summer, and the overall seasoning was refreshing, but it was a wonderful course that was spiced and deep, and I never got tired of it. Apart from the course, I ordered oysters and raw meat tartare as a starter, which was also excellent and went well with white wine, so I recommend ordering it. This is a restaurant I would like to visit again when I come to Amsterdam.
