We like the room Cafe ons House is in. It is cozy and elegant. But the tables for 2 are basically bar tables. Yes, if you are there for a 1 record and a glass if a table wine could pass Tgey. They are too small for a real multi-course dinner. The menu has potential that it had ever designed had good ideas. Nevertheless, there must be more elements on the plate interesting for the dishes. The Lachs/Fenell started we had, had a decent piece of salmon, but the amount of the Fenal salad was so abnormal, it was not a mention in the description. But the biggest dissopointment came with sweet potatoes. I saw the cook prepare the frits and keep under a warming light for at least 10 minutes. When they arrived, they were pathetic soggy. Yeah, we could see Tgey burying a party next door. But bo one takes care of why they are served sofgy fries. You just let yourself be disappointed. I don't think that the cook that ran the kitchen this night is trying to claim to the Standard Ons Huis. The service we received from Tina was excellent, and that madeitabitbetter.
