Mooie klassieke omgeving. De laatste van Mohamikans. Goede gewassen en soep. Genoeg privacy, warm en gezellig, Amiricain moet blijven.

The decoration of the restaurant is fine and historical and very well located. But when we arrived at our table online for our diner at 8:00 a.m., the waiter quickly asked us to choose our meal as the kitchen was to close soon!!! When they served the main dish, we asked about Fritten who arrived after we had finished our plates! The same for a piece of bread. I took Penne Vongole and was overdue to have penne with tomato sauce with my Vongole.... As far as wine is concerned, they first presented a map without years or where it comes from, so difficult to choose a Bootle wine under these conditions. So I wouldn't disappoint this restaurant.

The restaurant location is fantastic, and the Art Deco room is palatial and picturesque, The food is OK, not bad, not too exciting but safe to eat. Portions on the small side, and also not much choice. Service was not terrible, but not very professional: the waiters looked like students who had been in work for a day or two. They tried their best, but knew nothing about the menu and were pretty confused.

Extremely rude waitress at the reception area. Booked here for a large group and some group members we’re few minutes late due to transport complications and were refused the booked table.

Food was fine and ambiance was nice. But while stumbling from wrong seating, through forgotten orders twice and pouring wrong wine, servants continuously kept seeking recognition that all was great.
