Animalón By The Sea

My husband and I had reservations for our 10 yr anniversary yesterday 9/21. We arrived early with a group of other guest. No one was on the boat, no one showed up, and we didn’t get notification of cancellation. The security guard was more help then any employee of Animalon by the sea. All guys waiting with us made several attempts to call the number listed on reservation. Not ONE CALL WAS ANSWERED. We are still very confused. His restaurant in Valle de Guadalupe has excellent reviews. This place also had good reviews. This place is not inexpensive, so you would assume that the service would reflect that. Price doesn’t always guarantee anything I suppose. We understand emergencies can happen. But we all drove there with Ubers 30-45 min away. And no communication AT ALL. They won’t answer the phone or emails. No explanation at all. Very unfortunate, we ended up at Metate restaurant that was amazing. Price per person: MX$900–1,000 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

What a lovely dinner and experience all around. The staff were all super hospitable and the food was great. The boat ride itself was super relaxing and the music set the right vibe. Perfect!

If going to Los Cabos is a good option, going to the Animalon takes it to another level. Dining admiring the sunset in front of the iconic arch and enjoying the cuisine of the best chef Javier Plascencia, is definitely the best experience
