Nonna's Cafe - Amite City

This place is a hidden gem! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! We visit family often and have to take I-12 and we will be stopping every time for the buffet. It’s very well seasoned and not a thing I tried was not absolutely wonderful. The best part is it is even that much for a buffet which is a lot of seafood…under $20! 4 adults was $81 and that included drinks and the $10 tip. Can’t wait to try what is available on other days! Definitely stop by…you won’t be disappointed!

What a delightThe quaint down home feel to it... LOVELY!We will be back.Fried chicken, meatloaf, greens, sweet potato, washed down with a lemonade/tea... And finished off with Peach cobbler.Got to meet Mama Nonna and more of the family... What an honor...Praise music playing ... When you walk in, it feels like you're walking into your mawmaws house out in the country. I've eaten here for years, the quality is consistent, flavorful, real Southern Soul Food. They close early, so be sure to get there early enough.

The staff is great the food is spectacular and I love the atmosphere. First time at this place didn’t even know it existed but I guarantee this will not be my last time here.Must come back with the whole family
