Oxley Estate Winery - Amherstburg

When I tell people that the Southern Ontario Winery scene is underestimated, this is the place I think is wonderful wines and service! As a Detroiter who crosses the border to go here, it's a must!

Absolutely beautiful location with beautiful gardens. This is only improved by the fantastic quality of food. Oh, the wine is also excellent!

Sweet vineyard. We made a white flight and a red flight. Everyone had some hits and some misses. There was a covered area with beautiful small tables to make your tasting of and glasses were marked for simple reference. I would have liked to eat there, but they were all booked in advance. Worth a visit and bring your camera.

Today with a group of 8. We were treated like we were in a prison camp. Hand sprayers and speed testers were rude. I wanted Cooper's Hawk and was treated like people. Terrible place.

It was nice to get out. Our first dining experience since covid. Nicely set up. More selection would be nice.
