Five Guys - Amherst

This is a burger joint that deserves all the awards! It's the perfect blend of fast food and a sit-down restaurant, consistently satisfying our cravings. Everything is made to order with the toppings of your choice—so delicious! One of our favorites is the peanut butter shake, and the fries are outstanding.

I had a great experience with the service and food at Five Guys, but I do have a couple of concerns. First, the aluminum foil tends to get really messy when I unwrap my burger, often leaving me with a bit of a soggy situation. Also, the buns are quite soggy, which definitely takes away from the overall appeal of the burger. I can't help but wonder if there's a specific reason for using aluminum foil instead of wax paper, or for opting for lower quality buns instead of premium ones.

I've always enjoyed a fantastic burger and fries combo here. Personally, I've never tasted better burgers and fries anywhere else. The restaurant has a really cool vibe, and the staff has been great every time I've visited.

Delicious! Best of the best for chain burgers and fries. They also have a few other traditional grill options, but the burgers are the star. Very customizable and made to order, fresh cut fries which come in a massive serving. Restaurant is almost always busy. Aside from the peanut shells all over the place, the restaurant is very clean. Only complaint us that burns can get soggy if you use takeout, but other than that, this place is terrific!
