Milongas Parrillada Bertamirans - Amés

Our son had reserved a table for six, (unexpectedly because we have a vegetarian in the family) but everything turned out well: they offered to bring a salad, some Padrón peppers and cheese for the vegan side and the rest of us enjoyed a wonderful spectacle of lovely grilled different meats after having chosen the Campera menu. Everything was delicious, snappy served by smiling Alejandra, who provided us with quick dishes of salads, chips, ribs, secreto , and the like. Desserts were out of this world and we left the clean place well stuffed after an incredible dinner. Definitely, a place to go.

Great waitress called Dermis was very helpful with identifying gluten free menu items!! Very friendly service. Great grill for great price.

We dropped into this parrillada more by accident than design seeking a place with kids space on a rainy day. And that is what this place is all about the family (irrespective of its odd roadside location). It has a great play room, kids menu's that are generous. But what this place really does is that it reminds you that Galicia is not just about the fish the beef is frankly fantastic and a joint of just dead T bone steak cooked on fresh coals for less money than a Macdonalds happy meal (Ok might be exaggerating here but we fed 4 adults and three kids with a good bottle of wine for around Euro 100). I promise you, you will be hard pressed to finish it! The staff were uniformly accommodating of the English toursists. An odd choice but a good one.

This restaurant appears to be part of a restaurant chain in the area, the style and decor give this away, but the food service were above expectations. Unpretentious and good value, this restaurant delivered in comfort, food and service. You do have to drive to this restaurant and the carpark was full when we arrived, clearly popular with the locals. My order from the 'menu of the day ' included delicious squid and a whole fish baked/grilled perfectly. My partner had the steak which was tender and cooked perfectly. Altogether a very tasty meal with excellent friendly service.
