Mcdonald's - Ames

Didn't get the 2 sm fries that came with the McDouble bundles I ordered in the drive-thru. Had to pull off to wait for my order. Should have checked my bag when the guy brought it to me. He even said 2 mcdoubles with 2 sm fries? I replied yes and he gave me the bag . I didn't open it until I got back to work. Big disappointment!!

Employees were definitely trying their hardest however there were only 4 people working so the line was almost a half hour long Not the cleanest there either food is always good though

Whenever I get there burrito meal nowadays they must not know how to roll a burrito and I’ve stopped ordering them but forgot today and wanted one but send like they still haven’t been trained on it. They also almost forgot my iced caramel macchiato then tried to hand me a hot one which I handed back and they made and gave me the right one finally.

Something is always up with this McDonald's. I've gone numerous times and have never had something NOT go wrong. The staff isn't friendly, the staff also always seems to be messing around and doesn't have their stuff together. The lobby is rarely open because they're usually short on staff (which makes sense with the conditions I've seen there). I've given it two stars because no one is particularly rude or unfriendly, but the staff is impatient and it's clear they don't care and have no idea what they're doing. I ordered online pick up and went inside to get my food but the door was locked because the lobby was closed from being understaffed. Due to this, I had to go through the drive through to get my food. I sat in the drive through for ten minutes waiting for someone to take my order while the drive through stall next to us was ushering people through very quickly. Finally someone took our order but it took them another ten minutes to find our online order for pickup. If I hadn't already paid for my food, I would have just left and gone somewhere else. The food was on par with McDonald's food. There weren't any issues there, you get what you'd expect from your typical McDonald's, but the way this establishment functions is incredibly unprofessional and inefficient.

The lady with brown hair in a ponytail is rude. They had forgot my water with my order and when I mentioned it to a worker politely she rushed to the window and told me pull forward. For a glass of water? Really? Go to the one on Lincoln way, they deserve your business. I agree with the other reviews that express that.
