Pure-n-simple Farm House Foods - Amery

We stopped on a Tuesday at 10:48am. We decided on lunch only to be told they don’t serve lunch until 11am. Yep 12 whole minutes too early. Even after checking our watches awkwardly the server did not offer to go ahead with our order. Not one other person in the restaurant either so they weren’t in the throes of making eggs. Too bad it looked cute in there and would have liked to dine. Bakery items looked delicious so we did buy some to go. ??‍

The whole family was there, 6 adults, 3 kids, and 2 babies. My daughter-in-law claimed that they had the best deep fried cheese curds of all of the places we ate on our trip. Kid-friendliness: Of the eleven of us, we had 2 babies in car seats. An employee clearing a nearby table noticed, came over and asked if we needed high chairs, then produced them. They were very helpful, all around.

The Reuben was delicious, I had the Cod Reuben cheddar soup also very delicious. Be sure and stop here for great Amish experience.

Delicious food, we stopped for breakfast and had eggs benedict, hashbrowns and pie!! They also have an adorable store full of unique gifts, different foods and decor. Loved it and will definitely go back!

Well where do I start this place is a joke. If it was possible to give a negative star review this place would have received it. My first time ever coming here And it will be my last. First of all the ketchup on every table is spoiled and fowl tasting. Confront an employee about it and was told the ketchup bottles were changed out every night then she walked back to the kitchen and then completely ignored me. Then after we left I called to speak to a manage and the employee that answered was very rude. Then the manager was also extremely rude and lied to me and said the ketchup was changed out every night. The manager in this place needs to be fired because she clearly has a hard time taking criticism from customers when there just trying to save them from the health department. Which I will be calling on Monday. Because I'm not the only one that has complained about the ketchup. The thing is if there neglecting to handle something as simple as ketchup what other corners are they cutting. Do not recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.
