Amber - Amber Valley

We have found our favorite spot for coffee in Ripley at this place. The staff is very friendly, and while the restaurant is small, they offer takeaways when there are no tables available. The menu is not extensive, but perfect if you're looking for coffee and cake (the homemade scones are amazing)!! Definitely worth a visit to support this small local business.

Wanting to get out of the rain , we decided to grab a coffee. Walked into Amber .It was so warm ,cosy Hayley was so welcoming we instantly loved this super independent cafe. The coffee was great the shortbread lovely too. Amber offer a coffee loyalty reward card too so I will be back for a another visit very soon. Hayley is super friendly makes you feel really valued as a customer ..highly recommend.

This is our go to favourite place in Ripley for good tea coffee, friendly staff and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Home- baked cakes scones are sometimes available, gluten free options are always available.

Unfortunately, this charming cafe with delicious coffee and a welcoming atmosphere is now closed. It's a shame that the local community opted to go to Costa instead of supporting this fantastic local business.

Visited this restaurant on October 7th. We chose to sit outside, which was very enjoyable. Upon entering, I ordered a tea and coffee from a friendly lady. My order came to approximately £5.50 and was delivered promptly. Unfortunately, my partner's cup was dirty, so she requested a replacement. Although a new cup was provided quickly, it was also not clean. Additionally, the teaspoons were stained. We decided not to complain again. It is disappointing that serving beverages in clean cups with clean utensils seemed to be a challenge for this restaurant. We would have preferred to visit Costa where cleanliness is guaranteed. As a result, we do not plan on returning.
