Public House - Amarillo

My wife and I went to Public House to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. We always enjoy a meal at Public House. My wife had a margarita with whiskey, and I may have enjoyed that more than she did. Our appetizers were crab and cream cheese wontons and drunken mushrooms. For our meal, my bride ordered mac/cheese with meatloaf. I ordered my go to favorite BLT. That may not seem celebratory to some, but I do love that BLT! Everything was delicious, but if I were to do that meal over again, I would have passed on the drunken mushrooms only because they are rich (yet delicious) and I had to restrict my attention to my BLT. Great food, great ambiance, great service...that makes for a very Happy Anniversary for us. And I almost forgot the carrot cake. I lack the right words to describe the taste, so I 'll go with, delicious.

Everything was fantastic – the food, the service, and the atmosphere. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Amarillo! I highly recommend it!

Great menu. Nice drink options and special’s too They had chicken lettuce wraps as a special app they were delicious.

On Valentine's Day, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Public House, and we were thoroughly impressed by their meatloaf and drunken mushrooms. The meatloaf was absolutely delicious—tender and full of flavor. The mushrooms, bathed in a rich and savory sauce, complemented the dish perfectly. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service added to the charm of our lunch, making it even more special. It was a simple yet unforgettable meal that truly enhanced our celebration.
