Continues to be an awesome “out of the way local great steak”. My cowboy husband says best Filet he has ever had”. We love Lone Star. <br/ <br/ May 24, 2017...ordered Ribeye split for two tonite. Excellent steak. Place was packed by 8pm. <br/ January 30, 2017<br/ The burgers are usually cooked to perfection, very juicy, cooked just right, with cold beer, and the service was excellent! Just an awesome place to stop in for a good meal. Laid back tonight and down home good. Lone Star is well kept secret...Dallas Cowboys were here back in late 90's ? We happened in... Who you ask? We played pinball with Drew Pearson, pool with Harvey Martin and Tony Dorsett. They had steaks! Hussby will NEVER forget that! Ray is definitely maintaining the quality

Yes and No .. I got the chicken (no) way over cooked .. My husband got a steak (yes) I took a taste and it melted on my tongue! Waitress was awesome! Live music was nice. Will go back but definitely for the steak only next time!

It was good. Super large steaks. Would have liked more flavor with the steak. Bit was pretty good!

It's the best damn place to eat if you want to eat a Texas meal and play some pool this place is it I eat her 5 times a week

Depends a lot of who is cooking..... I am not a big fan of steak but hear theirs are wonderful.I get the burgers or sandwiches, very homemade, nice greasy on the burgers, ask for the grilled jalapenos. Plus it is an actual unpretentious TX dive. That is worth something.
