Ihop - Amarillo

I came through town with my family and stopped for breakfast. They were very busy and everyone was thrilled. We waited to sit down with several other people and everyone who came by recognized us. I noticed the teamwork and that the food was not very long on the hot plate. Our server was Sadie. She was very attentive and proved to be great at her job. She was fast and efficient. This was definitely a big visit and I would return every day. Strong team work at this location.

Steak Omelette was good. Needed more steak. Steak and eggs were good. Many foods and freshly cooked eggs. Panckes a little gumy. Steak tips on the steak tips and eggs were super chewing and raw and had to send them back, they have corrected it. You were better at the second time.

I've had a few good experiences and a few bad so I'll give it a 2. Today I really wanted to eat at IHOP but I stood at the front not being acknowledged for 5 minutes then a couple walked in and the hostess said they'd be with them. Last I checked, I wasn't invisible. I ordered door dash from there a while back and it was supposed to be a for 4 people. The I didn't get the drinks that I ordered NOR did they send me any syrup. There was barely any eggs and what was there was cold. They also don't allow instructions in their system to request things like butter, syrup, creamer, etc. I wouldn't order IHOP through doordash if I were you.

This is the second time ordering from here through GrubHub. NEVER AGAIN!!! We didn’t didn’t even get all our food. The first picture was suppose to come with pancakes and didn’t get them. Gave the condiments for it. Seriously!! The second picture was suppose to come with union rings, not unions. It was suppose to be crispy chicken sandwich. Didn’t give fries but small cooked potato’s. This is ridicules!!!! I used to work at IHOP and this wouldn’t fly. I get it’s Sunday. Been there and understand. Doesn’t excuse not double check the food. I will not be ordering or going back to this one specifically. I get completely being busy but at least answer the phone!!! I have been sitting on the phone to call and let them know what happened. No one has bothered to answer for almost 15 minutes!!! At least answer and ask to hold and let them know your busy. Like, come on!! That’s not how you keep customers. I’m VERY disappointed.

This was the worst food ever my husband omelet came out cold sent it back and well they threw it back on the grill and then called us lier when we we told them we watched them put it on the grill and my daughter's chicken strip dinner came out cold and hard as a rock the pictures im posting is of my husband and you can tell it was reheated. My food was hot but gross. Definitely needs to get this place right.. back when I was living here this was the best IHOP in town what shame
