Church's Chicken - Amarillo

Really good food, but it took forever for them to really need more workers.

The food I love from many years back, atmosphere not so good because it is closed to eat inside I believe that due to short staff and customer service it is great especially a hispanically enthusiastic young girl who works, customer orders with a smile and ready to serve something that is now lacking in many fast food restaurants. I don't have her name, but her bosses should be grateful that she works for her.

The chicken was fresh and hot, despite having to wait 40 minutes for them to cook more. The staff were very friendly.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but I have had the experience of them being out of certain items or having to wait a long time. I hope they can address this issue soon so that they always have everything on the menu available. Despite this, the food that was available was still good.

My wife goes through drive through today at 12pm. She orders a 5 piece combo. She gets up to the window and she asks to please have unsweet tea and honey for the biscuit. The lady says hastily like she was either very busy or just flat out rude. No we don’t do unsweet tea and no we never carry honey. She then slammers the window shut without asking if she needs anything else or thanks for your business. Ya know it’s been 30 years since we tried this place. We know now why we haven’t been there and will never go back!!!! Thanks for the great customer service and making us feel welcomed!!!
