Abuelo's Mexican - Amarillo

Tonight, we had dinner at Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant, and we were truly impressed. The food was incredible and absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Olivia, deserves special recognition for her extensive knowledge of the menu, and we greatly appreciated her recommendations.

We always enjoy dining at Abuelo's, as the food and service are typically excellent. However, our most recent visit was an exception. Our waitress appeared to be irritated by our presence, and while I'm unsure of what was happening behind the scenes, her attitude suggested she wasn't pleased to have us there. The food was good, but it seemed to have sat in the kitchen longer than usual before being served. Typically, it arrives piping hot, but this time it was lukewarm.

I would describe the food here as delicious! The presentation of the dishes was excellent. They offer four different hot sauces, all of which were very good, but my favorite was definitely the hottest one. Our waiter was prompt and attentive with everything. It's an awesome place to dine. Treat yourself to a wonderful dinner—you won't regret it!

First, the service was some of the best in my travels. The Grande Plate( pictured) was more than enough to share. Mu daughter loved the food, and so did I. I did find the ground beef slightly less amazing but still easily a 4 Stat restaurant.

Loved the food, service and atmosphere!! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive too! It was great having an option for some spicy salsa, and their desserts were definitely worth their weight in gold. We will certainly be back on a regular basis!
