Lugar típico onde a música de fundo é fado. lanches divinos, queijo super saboroso e presunto. Dizem que tens o melhor prego do mundo, que não sei, mas tenho a certeza que é o melhor que já comi. A garota com broca também é fantástica. Adorei e vou voltar.

A Taberna is a lovely traditional bar and restaurant with good seating inside and out. Their menu is ideal for snacking as it has a fine selection of petiscos (Portuguese tapas if you will). We had gizzards, roasted peppers, Bacalhau balls, and croquettes. All washed down with some excellent cold beers. It was all very good but, without doubt, the Moelas (chicken gizzard stew) was the star of the show it was fantastic. Service was also very good and the prices most reasonable.

I think this is the best restaurant in Amarante. I've been here twice, and both times it was excellent. The sandes de pernil are very good; the migas are fantastic. They also have a nice selection of vinho verde, which is definitely worth a try. They combine all this with a cool ambience. Fado music, and a terrace out back.

Good food and nice people! Sandwiches are great and thé place is really typicall! Don’t miss thé dessert with almonds!!
