Imperial - Amador City

Having been in the high end hotel and hospitality business for 35 years, we can be a bit picky. The room and especially the amenities were outstanding. Bed and their linens, coverings were first rate. Extra, extra large quality bath towels super. Our room (the cigar) was quiet and spotless. The tea kettle so unique I went home and bought one. But the service, from check in, bar, restaurant and especially our room attendant were as friendly and professional as they come!! Upon check in I had a case of wine and the manager said, “if you would prefer not to carry that up stairs, we would be happy to keep it here and in our kitchen cooler…” (100 degree day outside) That’s service!!!

Stay here! Such an incredible experience from check in to check out. The food is so good, the staff is so welcoming, the rooms are so nice! We drove up from the South Bay for a wine festival, but I think if you’re local, getting dinner and drinks here followed by a night at the hotel would be the ultimate treat!

Exceptional!!! Beautiful outdoor patio that is dog friendly.

We loved out stay in the cottage, it was lovely and quiet and great location. We enjoyed our dinners at the hotel, Angelique was a great server!

Not sure how the Imperial Hotel is a two star Hotel. Everything about the place is great. The bar, the restaurant, the atmosphere,the rooms, everything about the place is just very cool.
