Cafe na Ria - Alvor

Awful service, wasn’t busy but still ignored by staff for 20 mins after sitting down. I went over to the 3 staff who were chatting and I was told to take a seat so we got up and left. We walked 20 yards to the Yacht club and we were really well looked after.

We went to the restaurant two nights running.and the service was terrible.we had to remind them constantly for our order of drinks.when we finally got the drinks they got the order wrong if you want to go out for drinks don't go here

What a dissapointment. Great location, tasteless hamburger would get a better one at McDonald’s (that says a lot). Pizza tastes like heated frozen pizza. Super slow service. Avoid!

Pizza and a bottle of wine. Cheapest prices in Alvor. Had a class of beer during the sunglass. Make an unforgettable moment on our trip. Make sure to say hello to the cat... she's making the place!

Went for breakfast one day and everything was perfect, including portion size, the view and the weather. They say never go back to the same place twice and I should have listed to that advice. Went back for a late lunch and it started well with the drinks and our order was taken. Very courteous waiting staff again. Omelette was fine, lasagne was small for the price of €15 and no bread salad and the black Angus beef burger, also at €15 was a kids size meal. I did mention the burger only and they said it would not be the original price but only €9.50 fair enough. The bill came and the reduced burger price was noted. However, I had asked for dash (yes a dash) of lime in my beer and for this privilege, had been charged an additional €1.20 on top of the beer which was only €3.50 to start with. I tried to reason with the manager, even saying how much we had enjoyed the food previously and thank you for recognising the tiny Angus beef burger, but she was having none of it. She just kept asking me why I should not pay for something that was clearly overpriced and said it is just the way it was. It would not have been so bad if the beer was full, noting they had also left beer out to put the lime in! Getting nowhere, I did unfortunately note her customer service was ShI& (apologies) but she then swore back in probable awareness she was going to get a bad review anyway after burger gate! I mean, how much does a bottle of lime juice cost apparently it’s more than €1.20 but can’t see it being much more. (It’s not at home). If I’d had enough cash on me I would have just left an amount and walked out, but did pay in full. I’m not saying don’t go there as it’s a lovely place with mostly nice staff, but i do hate terrible customer service and being ripped off wherever you are in the world.
