One of the best spots too sit have an afternoon beer or a snack, sun spot and then some. Lovely owner in Vlad very welcoming

We drank here every evening on our trip to Alvor. It was great sitting outside watching the world go by. this is not a fancy bar by some people standards but we loved everything about it. great staff. and very local cliental or expats that seem to come back year after year

Ancora Café is most definitely a hidden gem, sitting down a side street very understated, hosted by the wonderful Irene! Just to sit on one of benches looking out at the harbour and boats, chatting to regulars and sipping on a cold beer .... nothing beats it ah!

So glad we found this lovely cafe bar on a quiet little street. Views of the sea from seats outside. The nicest owner. Really good drinks. Nice civilised atmosphere. We will be back here for sure!
