Surya Aluva

Horrible experience at this restaurant. Got food different from what was ordered and charged huge money. Be careful as the waiters will tell the food which you order is not available and try to sell the food which is not getting sold and costly. Before you can react the waiter will mention that food is already ordered. Many other good restaurants are there in Aluva. It has lost the old Surya taste and service and the quality is also diminishing.

Good food, bit of pricier side but the ambience and food do justice, soft porotta

I loved the food ambience and the service here (especially the security bhaiya who helped us park the car so well). Coming to their cuisine they have south indian dishes as well as North Indian. Don't forget to try their Ceylon parotta with chilly beef fry semi gravy, it's lip smacking good. Also the tea here is something I found really good. As you can see on my plate I was too busy eating that I almost finished the chicken noodles and koontal(squid) fry which was also very tasty.

I'm personally satisfied with the food quality but should improve the service quality especially to those who are visiting the hotel for the first time. It's better to confirm at the entrance itself whether the customer came for dine in Or to collect the parcel as both are in different floors which will be confusing for the customer, especially those who came to collect the parcel. As I was a new visitor to the hotel and was sarcastically blamed by one of the employee for going to the first floor to collect the parcel but it was available at ground floor itself. I wasn't guided properly as the watchman himself told to climb up to first floor by assuming that I came for dine in. To avoid the above confusion I strictly recommend to confirm at the entrance itself whether customer came for dine in or to collect parcel.

We had a family get together at this hotel on 18May evening. It was good experience for me and all. All chefs were very cooperative and the food delivered with no delay. The food was very tasty. We spent nearly 2 1/2 hours at the hotel.
