Village Inn - Altoona

My self and my family often go there. Debbie is the best server they have on the staff. She's great.

Friendly waitress, food was very good. Had VIB breakfast, service was fast.

Pleasantly surprised how good it was. It's been for more than 10 years since we had an inn, I thought they were all closed in the subway. I got a garden capability that tasted like fresh vegetables, my egg was perfectly cooked. My daughter got broccoli with her and it was very good, she is 4 and ate all only 3 pieces. We were all happy and full. Much better than I remember. We're coming back!

Service was great and it seemed like she was doing everything except to cook hostess, waitress and cashier! Food was good, except my sister ordered her without mushrooms and there were mushrooms in it. Our wonderful waitress offered to renew her, but my sister just picked her up.

They were busy as it was mother's day. I got a seat right away. I had an omelette covered with green chili. It was very good. The serving sizes seem to have gotten smaller, which is fine as they were entirely too much for one person, and prices seem to be a little higher. But what prices are not? The service was attentive when I first got there but took a long time to get someone's attention to bring me a to go box for my leftovers.
