Sweetfrog - Altoona

Took my little girl here for some daddy/daughter time. She absolutely loved it! The food was great, if a bit sweet. She loved the gummy alligator that she topped off her cup with!

We like this location. There is a variety of flavors (some are constant but some change), much sitting space, free parking, and the ability to self design portions and toppings. My only comment is that tables and toppings areas are not always clean. There were times when I wanted to add something to my ice cream but couldn’t due to messiness.

Daughter loves this place! So many choices! The color changing spoons!???

I am very disappointed with the staff tonight. There was a customer who came in with his child and another person. I believe it was his child, I was in the seat by where they stood checking out and heard him to him as Dad, so my guess is he was in with his children. The gentlemen dropped his phone and his cards fell scattered. As soon as he was going to pick them up, all three employees pointed and began laughing hysterically at the guy. When he was trying to pay, after the humiliation by the employees, he was clearly flustered and upset as he was trying to pay. I am excessively disgusted in how unprofessional they acted towards the customer. He was a consumer too. He deserved far better than the demeaning actions of children. Such poor and unprofessional behavior by staff just lost me and my family as customers. If the man who endured it is reading this, I am truly sorry you were treated with little integrity. I hope your day is better.
