Burger King - Altoona

Man, I was craving some lunch nugs hard so I swung by the nearest BK Lounge. It was a dreary, rainy day, so I pulled into the drive thru to place my order. I froze with panic when I was asked which sauce I wanted. My hunger-stricken mind hadn 't gotten that far yet. I was paralyzed with uncertainty. 'Uhh... hello, sir? Are you still there? ' the voice crackled over the speaker. 'Surprise me! ' I blurted out. As I pulled around to the second window, unsure of my future, I was greeted with a friendly, smiling face. The man behind the window must have felt my trepidation, my tumultuous thoughts. He handed me my food, said 'Thank you, sir. Please come again! ' I checked the bag expecting kethcup or some other every day dull sauce. Your boy Michael hooked me up with ranch AND buffalo sauce. The rains stopped, the clouds parted, and the sun came out. I will forever be in debt to that man, that saint, that rockstar. May Michael live forever.

Excellent experience! Staff was very friendly and helpful and didn't seem annoyed when we asked questions! Def 10/10!

The remodel looks nice. Order was completed in a timely matter .. The croissant sandwiches could be hotter. Always feel kinda cold.

Food is always good, usually 5 stars, 4 stars for only this reason: at each location, I got the Breakfast King meal, didn't get the Breakfast King correct, I understand you have choice of 2 meats, bacon plus bacon, ham or sausage I like ham bacon, each place once, only gave me bacon. I can understand early morning light staff and numerous orders, prepper may have just forgot. Nothing bad to say about either location, double croissants are loaded up (I get a ham [use good ham] a bacon [med crispy] and the ultimate platter meal, lots of food. Their taters are nice golden brown

I just had the best experience in the drive thru. His name was June and he was hilarious and gave us crowns and wrote something nice on them and made me and my girlfriend laugh so hard. Will be returning very soon. If you seee this June you are a #whopper queen
