Beautiful high quality pub in a quiet village. It is somewhat more expensive than your average pub, but every penny worth, food was of a high standard, service was great. The garden has a beautiful view over the Hampshire countryside. Recommend the Hog Star beer, rich and malty warehouse, delicious!

What a find. We went because we had Dot the Dawg with us. We had a chance because we had not booked (for dinner) and the employees and managers were ever so courteous. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere spot on and the locals (and their dogs) a cheerful and welcoming bundle. Hello. To Winston the border terrier was a character!!!

Very impressive menu, including many gluten-free options. Service was so friendly, large outdoor area. Top Pub, would give 6* if I could.

Great village pub no loud traffic. Extensive and varied menu. Enjoy everything we had. 4. Visit this holiday. Staff super helpful and attentive. Very dog friendly. Our big girl was greeted inside and outside. Bliss!

Lovely country pub! We stopped here on our way through from a trip. Idyllic setting in the garden with lovely views and a quintessential English pub feel. Food was lovely and a friendly team. We’ll be back!
