Great food and service. It is great for a date night out. The house salad is fantastic. Nothing beats their fried chicken.

Always wonderful food! Great service ! Best chicken around! Big onion rings! Prices are reasonable! Plenty of parking: family atmosphere. Plenty of items on the menu to chose from. Call ahead for reservations!

I hate leaving poor reviews, but We were occasional Moonlight visitors decades ago. We live about an hour away, so this was always considered a special endeavor for wife and I, plus friends and relatives. Our visit a couple days ago was not up to par. Premises and parking, Excellent! Service and table attention: Excellent! Atmosphere, Excellent! Salads and sides: Excellent! The big failure, oddly enough was the oft praised fried chicken. They have some way of cutting the pieces that is not normal to us. We found ourselves trying to pick around tiny bones, similar to some pond caught fish. Either that, or (gross) prying chicken bones from our mouth. Over-Breading seemed an attempt to cover what used to be a fantastic chicken experience. It was bad enough to keep us from making the trip again in the future. Sorry, but just relaying our recent experience.

Decent food nice atmosphere and reasonable prices but they don't have as good of food as when the original owners had it. I feel like corners have been cut along the way probably substitutions for a higher profit margin. Unfortunately we see this a lot when younger generations of families take over.
