Small place in the center of Turin, reservations are recommended as there are very few seats. The cuisine of the restaurant, as the name suggests, is typically Neapolitan. The owner told us that he gets all the products from Naples. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife, she is Piedmontese and he is Neapolitan, both very kind and friendly. We ordered an appetizer with buffalo mozzarella, broccoli and courgettes, all very good, only the mozzarella felt like it wasn't very fresh but be careful! I am originally from Caserta, and I am used to mozzarella that melts in the mouth, furthermore my area is the one of typical production, so I understand very well that it is impossible to get the product here in Turin and think of having the same taste characteristics. It also happened to us that we bought them just before leaving the south and after a night's travel the taste already changed. Returning to the menu, I came to this place to taste again after years the Neapolitan fried sauce that my mother often cooked. I must say that I was very satisfied with what was served in this place even if it was very different from what she cooked, but as they say: mum is always mum. Together with the sauté we took a swordfish, olives and capers and to finish we couldn't miss the Neapolitan pastiera, the latter also quite good. To finish we were offered a bitter derived from the Greek word for tuff. I must say that the final bill, 42 euros, was also an excellent price. The menu consisted of a few courses, mostly first courses with fish as per the Neapolitan tradition. I imagine the choice of a limited menu is dictated by the desire to always have fresh products to serve. Final verdict: excellent.
Excellent Neapolitan restaurant: very good quality ingredients, short menu which makes it very convenient, very generously sized dishes, and a very comfortable environment. Truly top!
Very bad experience. Dishes greasy with seasonings, without any creativity. Forgettable services, with an unlikely waitress. Let's not talk about the idea of hygiene: the kitchen is an unventilated cave, with the cook working hard and sweating (this is how he contributes to the seasoning). It will be home cooking, but poorly made. To forget. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Extra welcome, everything was done so that we understood the menu. We enjoyed some very fragrant specialties, for a very reasonable and appropriate price. I highly recommend it. we will come back Vegetarian options: to check according to the menu Kid-friendliness: the room is not big so quite suitable, not too much noise, the setting will please them Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30
